About Us

Engaging Nonviolence is a project of Drepung Gomang Center for Engaging Compassion.

The Compassion Education Center of DGCEC offers presentations, workshops, events and classes that are based on the universal human values of nonviolence/ non-harm, loving-kindness, compassion, tolerance, patience, gratitude, and generosity.

DGCEC’s programs inspire everyday people to expand their hearts and minds, learning good-living skills to create more caring communities. Inspired and guided by the secular teachings of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, we envision a world where everyone is respected and honored.
